Bereavement Care and Grief SupportOur first responsibility is to the families we serve, and we treat this responsibility with the utmost care and commitment. We believe that funeral service is more than just arranging for the service itself. It’s about helping families through a very difficult time- caring for those who have died, and those who are left to carry on. Helping family, friends and the community is much more than a job. To us it is a way of life: our family’s ministry for generations. At the Harris Funeral Home, we know that the process of grieving and adjusting to life without a loved one goes on long after the funeral is over. And we understand the unique and ongoing challenges that loved ones face. So to help you throughout the grieving process, we provide quarterly letters, informational brochures and an extensive bereavement library. In addition, we host a Christmas Service of Remembrance- an annual Ecumenical service honoring loved ones and their families.
