Obituary of Gisela Julia Geier

Geier, Gisela J. Mendon: Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband, Charles. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Geier; nieces, Margaret Geier Costello and Cathy Geier Wannamaker; and nephew, George Geier Jr. Mrs. Geier was a much loved teacher in Cambridge, NY; Moneta, VA; and Algodones, NM. After her retirement she became active with her Shelties and later the Mendon Prayer Shawl group. Throughout her life she enjoyed the outdoors, particularly fishing, bird watching, and wildlife. No prior calling. A small service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be directed to the American Shetland Sheepdog Association Foundation Rescue Fund.
