Irondequoit: Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her sister, Clarice Booth. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Mario B. LoMonaco; sons, Michael (Cathleen), John, Mark (Kem) LoMonaco; sisters, Mary Durland & Deborah (Fred) Giaimo.
Jill was born in Lowell, Mass; Raised in Abington, Mass; And a graduate of Bates College (Maine), 1954. She later clerked at Albany Medical School until settling in Rochester in 1960 as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Jill took great comfort in the community of her church and served briefly as a Presbytery Synod delegate. Later in life, Jill volunteered as an elementary reading tutor for Rochester City Schools.
No prior calling hours. Jill's funeral service will be held FRIDAY 11:00am at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Lipson Cancer Center at Rochester General Hospital, 1450 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621 or Irondequoit Presbyterian Church, 2881 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622.
