Markidis, Marilyn R. (Steele) Sunday, August 23, 2015, at age 73 Marilyn went home to be with the Lord. Predeceased by her parents, Roland and Mary Ellen Steele. She is survived by her children, Nicholas, Stephen (Jacqueline), Christopher (Monika) all of Rochester, NY, Leonard and Laura(William)Stroud of Atlanta, GA.; 10 grandchildren, Jessica, Beau, Justin, Toni, John, Christopher, Christina, Brandon, Max and Nico; 5 great-grandchildren, Ariel, Anthony, Jordan, Scarlett, and J.C.; 3 sisters, Virginia Mueller, Patricia Prince, Diane (Sam) Parrow all of Rochester, NY and her brother Roland (Jeanne) Steele of Mexico, NY; several cousins, nieces and nephews and her precious cat Emma. Marilyn was a retiree of Valeo, (formerly Delco) on Lyell Avenue and enjoyed traveling to the 1000 Islands, Georgia and Florida and spending time with her family. She was an avid movie watcher and loved watching classic films. She also loved watching the old classic television shows on MeTV and pretty much kept that station on 24/7. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Leo Center for Caring at St. Ann's for their exceptional care and compassion during Marilyn's last days. Funeral services were held in private. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
