Obituary of Jean E. Romano

Jean E. Romano, at age 83—Pre-deceased by her husband Sam, and her son Gary. Survived by her daughter Cathy Walzer (Bart Psaila), son Stephen Romano (Cynthia), granddaughter Gina Romano, daughter Kim Meyers (Bob), grandson Dr. James Walzer (Dr. Kim Walzer), great-grandchildren Liam, Lucas and Kingston Walzer, grandson Anthony Walzer (Catherine), brother Matthew Rinaldi (Kathy), brother Walter Rinaldi (Laurie), and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Spending time with her family was the joy of Jean’s life. She was born in Rochester, NY in 1932, where she lived with her parents and two brothers, married Sam Romano and raised four children. Later, she loved spending time with her three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. While Jean loved caring for her family in NY, she also had an adventurous spirit that took her around the country to visit family and loved ones, occasionally travelling with her own frying pan in order to prepare a favorite meal when she arrived. Jean’s smile and laughter will be remembered by everyone who knew her, and she will truly be missed. Her family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 - 5:00 pm at the funeral home where her funeral service will be held Monday 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
