Pittsford: Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the age of 95. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Shirley; children, Michele Meteyer, James (Julie) Danylyshyn & Cheryl (Stephen) Bagley; grandchildren, Christopher Meteyer, Jennifer Danylyshyn, Stephaine (Eric) Johnson, Michael & Stephen Danylyshyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Avery & Harley Johnson; several nieces & nephews.

 

Michael was a former employee of Veterans Administration, Monroe County Sheriffs Dept. & Office of Emergency Preparedness. Michael was also a WWII Army Veteran, member of the John Onufryk American Legion Post 1590 & NYS Guard.

 

A special thank you to all his caring staff on the 5th floor SW at the Jewish Home.

 

His family will receive friends Sunday 1-3pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 1:00pm at St. Louis Church (64 Main Street South, Pittsford, NY 14534) for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
