Obituary of Frederick D. Hawke, Jr.

Irondequoit/Greece Thursday, June 22, 2017 at age 95. Pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen Hawke. Fred is survived by 2 Children: David G. (Cynthia) Hawke, Nancy (Gary) Simonds, 7 grandchildren: David (Sarah), Frederick (Jessica), Kalina, Michael (Mayerly) Simonds, Bethany, Daniel & Matthew Hawke, 2 great-grandchildren: Isabella & Jacob Simonds and special friend Nancy Meagher. Fred played football for Syracuse University, was a Marine Corps. Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, and participated in Honor Flight. Fred retired from the Rochester City School District as Mathematics Dept. Head at John Marshall High School. Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 10:00 AM at ST. LAWRENCE CHURCH for his memorial mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Honor Flight Rochester, P.O.
