Irondequoit: Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Frances; children, David (Jennifer) Spaker, Deborah (Thomas) Begue, Christopher (Colleen) Spaker, Pamela (Andrew) Salmon, Linda (Joseph) Sliwoski & Richard (Elizabeth) Spaker; grandchildren, Sarah, Helen & Maria Spaker, Theresa, Thomas & Nathaniel Begue, Danielle & Rachel Spaker, Andrew & Emily Salmon, Joseph & Jessica Sliwoski, Cody Simon & Caitlyn Spaker; sisters, Patricia (Charles) Leonhardt, Sharon (Darwin) Crandall, Bonnie (Robert) Maute, Susan (Robert) Reuter; sister in law, Helen Topel; brother in law, Robert Straka; many nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends Friday 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 9:30am at St. Kateri At St. Cecilia Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Alzheimers Assoc., 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
