Hurley, Dorothy T.

Irondequoit: Passed away on Monday October 9th, 2017 at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rochester, NY, to the late, William and Ruth Thompson, and was the 7th of 8 siblings. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Francis Hurley, married 68 years; her siblings; son-in-law, Allen Forbes; granddaughter, Stacey McBride.

She was loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Daniel McBride; son, Patrick Hurley; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dr. Christopher Zona; daughter, Sharon Forbes; daughter and son-in- law, Deborah and Charles Turrisi; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Mark Robinson; and 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.). Friends are invited to meet the family on Thursday 9:00am at Holy Cross Church for her memorial mass, immediately followed by the inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Building, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38105.
