Murphy, Helen Ferron

Farmington: October 13, 2017 at the age of 57. Helen passed away in the comfort of her home. Born to the late William A. and Helen K. Murphy. Also predeceased by her brother ,William J. Murphy.  She graduated from John Marshall High School.

Helen is survived by her sisters, Mary Anne (Bill) Benedict of Binghamton, N.Y., and Kathryn Murphy of Falls Church, VA; nephews, Paul and Brian Benedict; nieces, Colleen Benedict and Ferron Murphy and her special friend, Corena Lusk.

Besides the love of her family and friends, she had many interests, including serving those in need. Helen was a volunteer at the Isaiah House, a home providing end of life care, and supporting their families. She had also volunteered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for many years.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 9:00am at Sacred Heart Cathedral for her funeral mass. Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Isaiah House, 71 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14605.
