DiBiase, Augustine J. Irondequoit: Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his first wife, Mary DiNitto; brother, Joseph; sisters, Catherine Paris & Anna Andolina; son, Dr. Stephen DiBiase. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen DiBiase; children, Mary Ann (Jerry) Carpenter, Eugene (Judy) Michael, Michelle (Keith) Michael; grandchildren, Christopher (Heather), Stephanie (Justin Juschka) & Nicholas (Nicole) DiBiase, Mary Justine (Michael) Brooks, Brendan (Allison) Hartt, Wendy Michael & Jill (Rob) Cerame; brothers, Anthony, Salvatore (Myrna) & Franklin DiBiase; many great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews. Gus was a retired Deputy Fire Chief for the Rochester City Fire Department, with 30 years of dedicated service. He was a decorated Navy WWII & Korean War Veteran. Gus was awarded 8 combat medals and a Presidential Unit Citation for the liberation of the Philippine Islands. His family will receive friends Friday 4-6pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 11:00am at St. Kateri at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be directed to Monroe Community Hospital, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
