Irondequoit; Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at age 95.Pre-deceased by her husband Howard,  Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Frank) A. Gacioch, grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Matt) Decker, Joseph Howard Gacioch, Jonathan Anthony Gacioch, also Kay Maira and family. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Caregivers at The Friendly Senior Living Facility. Elizabeth was a lifelong volunteer well into her late 80's. Elizabeth, a WWII volunteer nurses aide, received the National Distinction Award for her service to NARFE, and was a volunteer for Palmyra-Macedon School District working in her grandchildren’s classrooms. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother to Pat, Frank, Mary, Joey and Jon.

Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY, April 4th 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 570 Kings Hwy S., Rochester, NY. Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY, April 5th 9:30 AM at ST. KATERI AT ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH, 401 Rogers Parkway, Rochester, NY for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Friendly Senior Living, 3156 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618-3499.
