Q: How would you describe John to someone who had never met them? A: Gary & I were very sorry to learn of John’s passing. We will always remember him as a kind and friendly person who was loved by his entire family. Gary always enjoyed sharing hunting stories with him! Covid prevents us from paying our respects. Our condolences to the entire Blackwood family. A special sympathy thought to his granddaughter and our niece , Jenna D’Annunzio & family.

Thank You for making John's departure a peaceful experience

My deepest sympathy to the Family for the loss of such a good man. I ran into John numerous times in Wegmans and Herrema's grocery stores. He allows took to the time to ask how I was doing and we spent some time chatting. He genuinely was a "nice guy" and will be missed by many. Find solace in the fond memories of his accomplishments and his kind-heartedness.
