Sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Joanne, even though I haven't seen her for many years. She did have a great sense of humor. I remember her making me laugh many times and appreciated her sunny, positive spirit, despite some of the trials she faced. She was a blessing to those of us whose lives she touched. Sending hugs, special thoughts, and prayers to her family.

I knew Joanne for 70 years. We grew up in the same neighborhood and went to school together. Many times we reminisced about those ‘young’ years, laughing the whole time. As my family grew, we didn’t see each other very often. But as my children got older, we started to get together again and did what we always did, laugh. Joanne’s health was not very good, but she always had a good attitude. She was a Christian and became a good role model for me. Regardless of how many health issues she was confronted with, she never lost her faith or love for the Lord. The news of her passing has brought feelings of sadness and happiness—sadness for the loss of a dear friend and happiness for her going home with the Lord. I will always love you, Joanne. Love, Cathy Sippel
