Edie and Scott,
Your dad was a wonderful addition to our family. The love between him and my sister happily brought the 2 of you to us as well. Your father was a model of patience and kindness, both traits the two of you evidence. I know what it feels like when both parents have passed. How we wish we could have one more chance to talk to them. The wonderful thing though is they live on through you and the good you both will continue to do throughout your lives. So live your lives happily and well. Make every day count. Love each other and treat family members, friends and others with care. Doing that will honor both your mom and dad and be a credit to your selves too.
