Sue was a long time member of the H/C group through the MHA in Rochester, NY. We never had an email address or mobile number for her, and it was very hard to reach her by telephone. I have been trying to reach her for months to check on her welfare. I am so sorry for your loss. She was extremely kind and gentle person. We have been missing her a great deal at meetings. It will break my heart to let the group know of her loss. She could always be counted on to make you smile and say something funny. One thing she always said she wanted to work on was her enormous collection of single socks. I could never persuade her to let any of them go, because she thought she might eventually come up with the mates? Was she ever able to let those go? If you wanted to share any other photos or memories that I can pass onto our group, please get in touch. Robin Pajerek (peer leader) robinqpc@gmail.com, (585) 729-8752.

Our group used to meet and be party of the Creative Wellness Group, but when the old Director Victoria retired, the new Director no longer wanted to meet in the evenings. So we switched to another group, the Drop-In Center. I was never able to reach Sue to let her know. She also participated in another group at the Creative Wellness Center, and they eventually left the Center and were meeting in a church. We really loved her.

It was with a sad heart that I was told of Sue's passing. In the months she was a Mt Carmel House, I enjoyed the time I spent with . her and the talks would would have. It was very apparent that she loved her family very much. And, Sue was so proud of her grandchildren. Sue was lucky to have a devoted family and I know they were lucky to have her. It was an honor to be a part of her last journey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Patty, Mt Carmel House.

My condolences to all in the family of Sue. My name is Janice Caretta and I met Sue many years ago when she became interested in joining the Legion. We remained friends every since, although I haven't had contact with her for some time. She was a very friendly, loving and giving person. She will be very much missed. May God give her peach and rest.
