It is with extreme deep sadness that i send out condolences to the Bakewicz Family, I was thinking of Tony this morning and decided to look him up via Linked In, but when i put in his name, an obituary came up. It actually broke my heart!!! I grew up with Tony and his brother attending #8 School. I have kept in touch with him over the years and it was always a pleasure talking with him. I worked for an asbestos abatement company and we ordered supplies from Cook Iron! well I ran into tony often, thank God.
Even though I am saddened about his passing, i am grateful that i had the honor and pleasure of meeting Tony and conversing with him about old times over the years. May god comfort his family, Larry I am forever praying for you all.
So sorry i missed this. I worked with Tony for years at Cook Iron. He was a wonderful person. We had a lot of great times and especially laughs. He will be missed. RIP my friend
I am heartbroken. I missed the announcement and funeral. Tony was the best boss I ever had and was an amazing person. I always ribbbed him about being a Dolphins fan. go bills. He will be missed by so many

There are people who come into our lives for a reason; for joy, for inspiration, to show us how we can live with joy no matter how difficult things can get. Tony was that individual. He was the first to volunteer to help a neighbor, my mother. He never complained about the hand he was dealt. He was kind and all the lives he touched, mine, are better for having known him.

Tony was a person who would give you the shirt off his back. If you needed it ..iv been honored to know Tony for many years have been friends with him but the parties with him he was always first person to ask if he could help he was a good man we'll all miss you .
Tony was a wonderful man who cared deeply for family and friends. He hosted many gatherings in his back yard and kept family together. His light will shine for a long time on all who knew him. I will miss him, even though we didn't see each other that much. He had a special kindness.
Tony was a great guy. He helped me by talking a couple times when I was going through some issues. I will forever remember his strong handshake and hug when he saw you.
