After Bob sold his Lyman boat and bought his Grady-White, he called me to visit Henderson Harbor for a quiet boat ride to a waterfront lunch. After the lunch, it started to rain lightly. Our wives didn't want to get wet, so they retreated to the cottage. Bob maneuvered the boat carefully out under the local bridge. He then asked me to drive the new boat out in the three-foot waves of Lake Ontario. He said I want to see what a 200 horsepower Evinrude outboard could do. I obliged and we actually went airborne a few times hitting the waves and swells perpendicularly at full speed. I was nervous so I asked if I should slow down. He answered I am 75 years old and have been coming to Henderson Harbor since I was seven, the boat and engine are under warranty and I can't do this with Elaine in the boat, so don't tell her.
