I knew Marlene through St Cecilia’s church. She always had a smile, even though she had suffered so many losses in her life. She knew Jesus and drew strength from her faith. She will be missed by all who knew and respected her.

Sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. We first met when we attended grammar school -- #22 on Leo and Zimbrich Streets. We had fun with Gloria Nowak, Marlene Heck, Carol Wolff, and many others all through the 1940's. Remembering the high school reunion, I think it was a picnic at Durand. .She was often in my thoughts with her big smile. Alice Adams McCrave

I was so sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. We lived next door to them for many, many years and my Mom and her were very close. She was a wonderful person and stood tall during her loss of her loved ones, John Sr., John Jr. and Susie. I used to walk John Jr. to school everyday and then Susie. Spent many days swimming in their pool and enjoying their company. She will be missed by so many people who had the honor of knowing her. She is now reunited with her loved ones! Rest in peace Marlene. Joanne (Nawrocki) Wheeler

Marlene was a fun and funny person. I always enjoyed her company. I knew her through the RSCD secretary’s social group. I am so sorry for all of her losses and not being well at the end of her journey. I have been retired for along time and lost touch with her. I am sorry for your loss. May she fly high and enjoy her reconnection to her loved ones. Jacqueline LaBarge

There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite as special as the love between a mother and a son. Marlene and John Jr, I miss them both.
