Posts to the tribute of Joan H. Frazier (Hopper)

I met Joan over 55 years ago. I was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts at a day camp and she was a professional with the scouts.We crossed paths many times, I as a volunteer later working at scout camp and I as a trainer, scout leader and various other volunteer jobs. As a teen I would often help Joan close down summer camp. It was hard work but never seemed like it because Joan was fun to be around. My Mom, Dad and siblings all loved Joan and my Mom later transitioned from being a long time volunteer to working with Joan. Joan (and many others back then 45+ years ago) was always the calm voice of reason during the many transitions the Girl Scouts went through. It has been a while since I saw Joan but our many wonderful memories remain. Rest in Peace Joan or maybe put on your old hiking boots and take a hike!❤️ Fondly, Jan

To Joan's Family, I am saddened to learn of Joan's death. As a volunteer I worked with her through the Girl Scouts and always admired her dedication and her cheerful willingness to tackle any situation. She was a model professional and fun to be around. When I sold my house and moved, she was able to paint the entire townhouse and did a wonderful job, carefully noting every detail. Even though Joan and I haven't connected in several years I still think of her as a friend and cherish the memories of the times we had together. May she rest in peace. Margaret-Anne Milne
