"Uncle Ange" will always remain alive in our memories as a tremendously kind and generous man who took me into his heart and home when I was just a teenager and ever after left a light burning in the window for us -(Dan, me, our children and even my parents!)
Despite the fact that Aunt Rose proceeded him to Heaven several years ago, we always had a sense that she was just in another room, making Ange's favorite foods and raising her eyebrows at his sometimes outrageous and funny remarks!
He was the most Italian of American Italians whose energy, pride in and love for his family and friends was endless.I can picture him now watching football with the Lord and picking up the phone to speak with one of his grandkids..."Hello Honey, how are you?"
We consider it a great privilege to have been sheltered under the wing of Ange Gallina and we look forward to being with him again in our Father's House.
Elaine, Andy, Joanne and all of you other lovely Gallinas/Spaulls, we love you and are praying that the Lord will wipe away all of your tears and replace them with peace and beautiful memories of your uniquely wonderful Poppa! Love, Jeannie and Dan
