After raising her children and surviving breast cancer, Rosemary obtained her R.N. and worked as a nurse for 12 years. She was active in Sacred Heart Parish, serving as Eucharistic minister, lector, and many other roles. She served as a Democratic Election Inspector and on the Rochester Zoning Board. Rosemary cared deeply about social justice and women's rights. She did extensive volunteer work, including at the Susan B. Anthony House, American Cancer Society's Reach-to-Recovery program, and various homeless shelters and food banks.

Rosemary and Ed wintered in Tucson, AZ, and spent summers at Keuka Lake, especially enjoying their early morning swims. Rosemary loved spending time with her family and many friends, which often included playing cards and games, while sharing her delicious kuchens and other homemade desserts. All enjoyed her quick wit, warmth, openness, generosity, and loving spirit.

The Hahn family thanks the Friendly Home for their safe and compassionate care of Rosemary. We also thank Rosemary's nieces, who became like a second set of sisters to her.

Rosemary will be interred privately at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford. A Memorial Mass and celebration of Rosemary's life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
