We will always remember Ellen as one of our Odyssey of the Mind Moms. Long drives, hotels (some more memorable than others)and restaurants, long practice nights, early mornings, and M&M crunching performances!
It was a pleasure knowing Ellen and her family. Ashley and Brittany, our thoughts go out to you. Love, Jackie, Rachel, Emma and Mr. Ray

I have known Mrs. Bleier since I was little. Through school and girl scouts I got to know the Bleiers and just how special they are. I always remember her great attitude and the love she has for her two girls, and her granddaughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Lorin

I have known Ellen for many years, going back to Daisy Scouts when Ashley and my daughter Joanna were just 5 years old, reaching forward for 9 years when the girls did OM together. Looking over pictures from the Daisy scouts and all of the OM Adventures with Fond Memories. My Fondest Memories of Ellen will always be when we were roommates at OM States so many years. Rooming with someone gives you the real picture. This is really when I began to appreciate Ellen as the Protective and Caring person that she really was. This is also when I came to appreciate her great sense of humor. I will remember Ellen as my OM roommate, big curlers and all!
With Love, Denise Bryan

I have known my dear friend Ellen since we were both 5. I believe that she was the first friend that I made in Kndergarten. We were close all through school and kept in contact since. She was the type of friend that you could just pick up where you left off, no matter how long it had been. I was a regular at the Tilebein household and she at the Pitcher household. To her family, my thoughts, prayers, and love go out to you. Ellen was about the strongest person that I ever knew. I cherish the many memories that I have of our growing up. Words cannot express how much I loved her. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Ellen touched so many people! Our children went to school together K - 12, and even though the kids weren't in the same activities, I would run into Ellen all over Irondequoit. Each time we met she had a warm smile, a hug, and a great conversation waiting for me. Ellen was a strong woman who loved her children dearly. Many of us are better for having known her. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.

I first met Ellen when we both began the Interior Design program at MCC. I can remember not knowing anyone yet and Ellen was one of the first people who came over and introduced herself. That was her way, friendly and outgoing to all. We ended up finishing the program and transferring to RIT where we spent many hours together in classes, working on projects together, and studying for exams. Ellen was an excellent student, smart and highly motivated. Her Interior Design work was exceptional and she pushed me to do my best to keep up with her. She was a great friend to me and I was extremely upset to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful person and my thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family, especially her daughters who she talked about all the time. She loved you so much!

One of my earliest childhood memories of my grade school classmates was a birthday party for Ellen at the Tilebein home. It was a very nice day. We will keep Ellen and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
