Greece: Thursday, May 20, 2010 at age 83. Pre-deceased by her parents Oliver & Nan Coutts and brother Peter Coutts. Mrs. Viken is survived by her 2 daughters; Valerie (James) Downs and Judith Viken, 2 grandsons; David & Matthew Downs, her sister-in-law; Mary Lou Coutts of Huron, Ohio, also several nieces & nephews. Nilva was a graduate of the University of Rochester, a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and a lifetime member of Irondequoit United Church of Christ. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the Staff and Doctors at Unity Hospital & Edna Tina Wilson Living Center and for their loving care and compassion for their mother.
Friends are invited to attend her memorial service SATURDAY June 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Irondequoit United Church of Christ. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be directed to Irondequoit United Church of Christ, 644 Titus Avenue, Rochester, NY 14617 or Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450
