A funny, thoughtful, generous woman who lovingly welcomed me and my children into the Haefner family. She never interfered, and was a constant source of help and support. She had a twinkle in her eye, and magic in the kitchen....I will never be able to match her lemon meringue pie or Christmas cookies, though I will try, just to help keep her spirit alive. Chris, the kids and I loved her, and will miss her terribly.

My very deepest sympathy to all of Maries family. Marie was more then a neighbor, she welcomed my husband and i to the neighborhood several years ago with a plate of her delicious homemade cookies. We thought how kind and special she was. My husband,Tom and I fell in love with her. Then we meet her husband, Jerry and felt the same about him as we did Marie. Both Jerry and Marie were so very kind to us,and after my husband passed they were right there to do what ever they could,and never forgot my Tom. What a Beautiful, Kind, Gentle, full of Love Lady ,Marie was . I will miss her so very much. M ay GOD BLESS MARIE AND ALL OF HER FAMILY. MY PRAYERS are with all of you. LOVE ALICE ABBOTT AND TOM IN SPIRIT.

I am Tom and Alice Abbott's daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Marie was a super woman and along with her husband they treated my parents very well and my mom after my dad passed. i thank you both for all that you have done. may god bless your family at this sad and sorrow time

Mom, it's been 9 years now, we all still miss you! I miss our Saturday talks and of course our daily chat. Hope you and Dad are in heaven dancing and playing with all of the dogs..... Love you and know you're not forgotten.
