Elliott, Richard J.
Irondequoit: September 12, 1932- June 19, 2010. Died surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marie Elliott and sister, Claudia Sturman. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lydia Elliott; children, Mark, Karen, Andrea Elliott; son in law, Robert Ament; grandchildren, Matthew and Isabel Ament. Richard was a graduate of Niagara University and Syracuse Law School. He served as a captain in the US Army in Korea and for a time in the Reserves thereafter. He was a founding partner in the law firm of Elliott, Stern and Calabrese and continued to practice law in the Rochester community for 50 years. He was a founding member of the Irondequoit Rotary Club and a former Irondequoit town judge.
His family will receive friends Note Time Change WEDNESDAY 4-8 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 10:00 AM at BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH for his memorial mass. Interment Private.
