Obituary of Christian S. Johnson, PhD.

Johnson, Christian S. of Rochester passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. Mr. Johnson is survived by his parents, Valerie and Christopher Shaw. Aunt, Majorie Pawley, Uncle, James Pecora, special cousin, Gary Pecora, godson, Santo Pecora and numerous cousins.

Christian was born in Rochester, NY and attended Penfield High School. Christian continued his education and received his Bachelor degree from Cornell University and then completed his doctoral thesis at Notre Dame University with a Doctorate in Philosophy. Christian thrived learning and researching all topics that spiked his interest. In his free time, Christian enjoyed nature and all animals, feeding and sheltering every cat he encountered. He played the piano and guitar, loved reading, enjoyed music of all kinds and he loved to travel around the world learning from all his destinations, particularly Rome and Italy. Christian always cherished the time he spent with family and friends.

Interment is private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with Father William Donnelly officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lollypop Farm, Habitat for Cats or any animal rescue group of your choice in Christian's memory.
