Janet and kids, words cannot express the sadness felt over the loss of Ken. He will forever be in my memories as a good natured, fun loving, easy going, "take it as it comes" type of guy who was an example for all. Most important, Ken was the true meaning of a FRIEND and devoted family man. His long battle is over but he HAS won the war and is in a much better, kinder place where you will all be reunited some day. May God and Ken always provide the light that guides you through the rest of your journeys in life. Luv you guys. Ken I miss you so much!! Scott

I didn't know Ken, but my son goes to school to Rebecca. I just wanted to say that your family is in my prayers. I know this is a difficult time but knowing that you are thought of can sometimes be comforted. I have lit a candle for your dad at St. Cecelia's. He is in our Lord's hands now.

Dear Janet and children,
I'm so sorry for you all. It's just not supposed to happen this way.But I especially have seen this in my career. The only thing I can say is God must need his goodness very badly to take him so soon.I know he had a strong faith and hopefully that is what will help you too.I'm sorry I can't come to the service due to work, and I have a bad cold that I don't want to spread so this is my condolence. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, always.Janet Schomske

Janet,Nicole,Rebbecca and Philip,
I just recently heard that Ken was very ill and now has passed to our Lords care. I am so very sorry for your loss and pain.
I remember seeing him from time to time at school functions and at the grocery store- he always had a kind word and a smile on his face. He appeared to be a very kind and devoted husband and father.
I hope that the heartfelt thoughts and memories of those that his life has touched will help the pain lesson just a tiny bit.
My prayers have been and will continue to be with you and your family. All my best -Wendy Thomson

Dear Janet, Nicole, Rebecca, Phil, and Piendel family.....I am very saddened by Ken's passing. As you know we were close childhood friends and spent a lot of time together growing up and sharing life's experiences. I think back on all the fun (and trouble) we used to get into and it truly reminds me of what friendship is really about. Ken always spoke highly of his family and he was very proud of all of you. Times like these put all of life's idiosyncrasies into perspective. Live, laugh, love and may you find comfort in his passing.

I didn't know Ken but the way Carol would speak of her brother, he seemed to be a wonderful, courageous man who touched a lot of hearts. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Carol, and please know my deepest sympathies are with you all. God bless.

what can i say, we were such good friends, neighbors, family for so many years..it is hard to
believe you are gone.but you still live on in your children and you should be proud of them. they are great and janet is amazing. so many memories i could write a book..but the best. you would call dan, come on over dan, relax , have a beer, while he was either washing his car or cutting the lawn. and dan would ask ken, don't you have to cut the lawn..and he would answer ,no janet will do it..but eventually the beer would call
dan and he would wander across the street with ken..patty
we love you guys....

We have gotten to know Ken over the years since we are his mom's neighbors. I also had the honor of working with him on some projects. Ken was a caring man who loved his family and it showed. We will miss him. We are sincerely sorry for your loss.

I only had the privilege of knowing Ken over a short period of two years while our sons played hockey together, but I am better for having known such a quality individual. He was kind and funny and easy to talk to. May Ken's goodness live on as a legacy in all who knew and loved him. Peace be with you Janet, Nicole, Rebecca, and Phil.

During the brief time that I was fortunate enough to know Ken, I found him to be a talented, caring and honorable man.
It was a pleasure to know and work with him.
