Obituary of Christa Baraniak

Irondequoit: Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Pre-deceased by her husband, Mykola; and her son Igor. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Winter; granddaughter, Elaine Winter; grandson, Scott (Ariane) Winter; sister, Helen Stuban and her family.

Christa was a very kind, generous person who contributed to many charities. She was an excellent cook and baker and loved to have her family over for special occasions.

Christa was a devout Christian who placed her faith in God's unending grace.

We are heartbroken and she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors. She would often be seen by her neighbors and many people passing by her home puttering around in her yard or retrieving her mail.

Christa loved listening to Thru the Bible Radio. In memory of Christa, please make a donation to TTB.org or just tune in, she would have loved that.

Her family will receive friends Monday, February 10, 4-6pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Panachyda 6:00pm. Interment private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers please.
