Obituary of Emma Briner

Penfield- With profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the death of our beloved mother, Emma (Schott) Briner of Penfield, NY at the tender age of 94 years. Born in Germany, September 6, 1930, she passed peacefully February 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Emma was predeceased by her husband, Werner Briner, the love of her life. She is survived by her 3 sons, Mark (Stacy), Scott (Dawn) and Tim (Robin) Briner; 4 grandchildren, Kaylie Briner, Felix (Anna) Briner, ReBecca (Josh) Bourne, and Joshua Briner; she was also blessed with 8 great-grandchildren, Jakob, Jaelyn and Juliana (Kaylie), JaeCia, Ella, Knox Bourne, Hazel and Violet Briner and countless number of friends who loved her dearly.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Heathwood Assisted Living in Penfield for the loving care they gave our mother. She loved you all.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, March 13, 2025, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Interment Private. In lieu of flowers our family has a simple request. Do an act of kindness, help an elderly neighbor, open the door for stranger or simply just give someone a smile that just might desperatly needs one.
