Obituary of Sebastian M. Morales

Lost too soon.  Survived by his father, Marcial Morales Jr.; his mother, Mariel Samudio Ortiz (Ronald); sisters, Mariana (Emilee), Celeste; his niece, Valentina Sofia Palozzi; his grandparents, Marcial & Irma Morales; Ludger & Minerva Ortiz; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended friends and family.

To know Sebastian (Sabi) was to know a kind, deep soul, a creative and passionate musician, a poet, a great dancer, an animal and nature lover.  If you were a good friend, he’d take you to his fishing spots where he found peace and solace.

He loved deeply and made a friend on every road that he traveled.  He made time for his family and did not miss an opportunity to get together with his sisters, cousins and aunts to laugh, catch up on life and enjoy a home cooked dish of seafood or Puerto Rican cuisine.  He loved sharing the many cute things Valentina said and did.

Under his performance name, Yung Vado, he came to be known for his poetic lyrics and his improvisational skills.  He had big dreams that included ghost writing, playing more instruments and collaborating with his friends.  He leaves behind a library of songs that capture the highs and lows of making your way through the struggles of life.

He was the apple of our eyes, we loved him, cherished him and will never forget him.  He imprinted in our hearts and from the calls and stories that have been shared since his passing he imprinted in many hearts.  When he spent time with us, he was fully present absorbing each minute of joy.  We will carry on this legacy when we remember his infectious smile and go back to those beautiful memories he left us.

I love you more.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25, 5:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 7:00 pm.
