Obituary of Mary Attridge
Mary Lorraine Schwarz Attridge
Irondequoit: Mary was born March 31, 1928 and passed away peacefully at St. Ann's Home Friday, February 28, 2025 at age 96. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Attridge; son, James Attridge; grandson, Heath Attridge; parents, Osmond and Teresa Schwarz; brother, Robert Schwarz. Mary is survived by her son, Stephen (Frances) Attridge; grandchildren, Rory, Shane, Aaron, Jessica, Amy, Sallay Attridge; step-grandchildren, Dawn Dalberth, Anna Coomber, Ronald Lackey, Trista Sturries; 22 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Attridge; several nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins and her niece and longtime caregiver, Betsy Wynne.
Mary is the last of her generation and a long family lineage. All of her predeceased loved ones meant the world to her, and she missed each and every one of them immensely. The same goes for her surviving family members, each was thought of with equal love and fondness. Mary had a great love for the Adirondack Mountains where she spent many summer days as a child through adulthood with her family. She held many cherished memories there.
On Monday March 31st at 10:30 AM, Mass at the Walter and Barbara Parkes Family Chapel (1500 Portland Ave.) will be offered for the repose of the soul of Mary Attridge.
Burial will be held Monday, March 31st at 1:00 pm at White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd.). Those wising to attend please gather at the entrance.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in Mary's name.
