Gloria Schwind Skanron

Fairport: Sunday, March 30, 2025 Passed away peacefully at Age 91 at the Leo Center, (Rochester, NY).
Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Richard P. Schwind of 24 yrs; husband, Richard D. Skanron of 26 yrs; son-in-law, Mark Lindner.
Gloria is survived by her children, Bruce (Annette) Schwind, Karen Lindner (Jim Watt), Kathy (Robert) Felluca and Scott (Cindy) Schwind; grandchildren, Ron Colon (Patti Lynn), Frank Schwind (Brynn), Andrew Schwind, Bryon (Ashley) Lindner, Kristen (Sam) Fredricsen, Nicole (Scott) Bruggler, Jeffrey Felluca, Kelly (Mark) Limoli, Julie (Max) Krueger and Julia Schwind (Shellie); great grandchildren, Bryson, Samantha, Lawson, Beau, Finn, Declan, Whitham, Fritz, Quinn, Betsy, Remi and Harrison; twin sister, Geraldine Zientara; many nieces and nephews.
Gloria will always be remembered for being a kind, compassionate and a devoted caretaker to her family and friends. She retired from St. Ann’s Nursing Home where she was a nurse’s aide for many years. Gloria always loved a good laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her sister playing cards and Parcheesi. Gloria was very proud of her Polish heritage, traditions and specialty dishes, never to pass on the polish sausage and pickled herring at Christmas. Gloria had a passion for gardening, shopping, home design and decorating. She was also very clever with floral arrangements.

Calling hours for Gloria will be held at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Highway South) on Saturday, April 12th at 10:00 AM with a memorial service following at 12:00 PM. Interment private.
