Obituary of Michael A. Tanner

Born on November 28th, 1959 in Groton, Massachusetts, Michael Andrew Tanner was the third of seven children. Having moved around the country to various cities and states as a child, Mike eventually settled in Irondequoit, NY where he made many life-long friends and started a family. Michael is predeceased by his parents, Michael Anthony and Joanne Beverly (Tiernan) Tanner. He is survived by his children, Michael (Kyli) Tanner, Lauren (Elliot) Kraft, and Nicholas Tanner; siblings, Joanne (Ormond) Barstow, Jeanne (Richard) Parnas, Madeline Tanner, Margaret Ornelas, John (Marice) Tanner and Elizabeth Kinghts; friends, Joe Doktor, Joe DeSpirto, Lew Foster, Beaver and Mary Jane Kleehammer, Craig Everhart, Angie Massaro, Rod Cutler, Jerry Keating and many more. He will be remembered for his outgoing and adventurous personality. Michael lived his life to the fullest and certainly left us with many stories to tell.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
