Obituary of Lani S. Roscoe

Lani S. Roscoe, a loving and dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away April 14th, at the age of 55. She succumbed to a rare blood disorder called TTP (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) that she was diagnosed with around two weeks ago.

Born in Johnson City, NY on September 8, 1969, she was known for her amazingly generous heart, strong will, and unwavering support of her family.

Her career as a sales and business development manger for the Dish Network/Boost touched many lives, and her hobby as an owner/operator of a small antiques boutique was a reflection of enjoyment of building something and seeing it thrive.

Her joy and purpose in life was being the best mother she could possibly be with her unwavering guidance, encouragement, and support.

For anyone that was ever lucky enough to have been in her life, they will remember her kind heart, her generosity, and her laughter.

Predeceased by her mother, Margaret Slaughter. Lani is survived by her son, Devon Roscoe; daughter, Hannah Roscoe; her father, Robert Slaughter; sisters, Amy (Chris) Walther, Nikki (Mike) VanStaveren; father of her children, Mick Roscoe; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, April 19, 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm.
