Some of my fondest HS memories involve Bob and Bill. One yr Bob, myself and 2 other friends shared a study hall. Bob had an assignment to write a story for a class. We would all sit together and contribute a line or 2. It was a sea faring story that involved all of us, icebergs, krackens, and every conceivable mishap that Bob titled The Great Adventure. Bob would read a page aloud as he filled it as we all laughed hysterically. That went on for several weeks, and Bob received an A for the story. Almost 50yrs later, I still think of that and smile.
That's the way it was with Bob, as he always seemed to be happy, always had a new joke, and was a fun person to hang with. If I had to make a top 10 list of genuinely nice people I've met in my 63 yrs, both Bob and Bill would be on it.
Rest in peace my friend, and I'll see you on the other side.
