Walter V. Denysenko

Irondequoit: Friday, May 9, 2025 at the age 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Tamara; daughter, Nina (Alex) Nechipurenko; sons, Andrew (Adrianna) Denysenko, and Taras (Wendy) Denysenko; grandchildren, Tymon Nechipurenko, Yurij, Maria and Bohdan Denysenko; siblings, Lucy Wasilewski, Victor (Slava) Denysenko, and Lydia (Terry) Cook; many nieces and nephews.

Walter was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Ukrainian American Veterans.

Walter will be remembered as a loving husband, great father and best grandfather.

Walter was a man who was loved, cherished and will always be remembered for his loving kindness and gracious generosity.

His family will receive friends Monday, May 12, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Panachyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday, May 13, 10:00am at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
