Obituary of Ronald S. Carlivati

Ronald Samuel Carlivati, 90, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in Rochester, NY.

Born on December 10, 1934, Ron pursued his education at St. Philip Neri and Franklin High School before continuing his studies at Alfred University and RIT. He went on to build a successful career with Xerox, where he dedicated many years of service.

Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Jo; daughter, Christine; son, Ron; and son-in-law, David Rogal. He is also survived by his brothers, Peter and David; sisters-in-law, Debby Fasino, Dianne and Jeanne Carlivati, and Josie Gangemi; brothers-in-law, James Fasino and Richard Gangemi; nephews Richard, Jay, and Rick; nieces Jill and Lisa; and his lifelong friend Walter Licata. He was predeceased by his father Philip, mother Clara, and brother Phil.

A man of simple pleasures, Ron enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan. He especially cherished attending Rochester Red Wings baseball games. Friendly and outgoing, Ron could often be found out to breakfast with his friends after shopping and socializing at the Public Market.  

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Paul W Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Hwy S, Irondequoit, NY 14617. A funeral service will follow on Friday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
