Rochester- Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the age of 68. Barry is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Doris; step-father Douglas White. Barry proudly served his community for 30 years as an employee of the United States Postal Service.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, and one of his greatest was the yearly family vacation to the Adirondacks. These cherished trips were filled with laughter, campfires, and unforgettable memories that his family will hold close forever.

An avid sports fan and athlete, Barry enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing softball with friends and coworkers. He also loved a good card game, where his competitive spirit was matched only by his sharp wit.

When not on the field or at the lanes, he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams — the Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, and Cincinnati Reds. Win or lose, he remained a loyal fan to the end.

Above all, Barry loved his children and grandchildren deeply. He was endlessly proud of their accomplishments and found his greatest joy in their laughter and the time they spent together. His love for his family was the heart of who he was.

Barry will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered fondly for the joy and warmth he brought into their lives.

His family will receive friends Sunday, June 1, 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his funeral service will be held Sunday, June 1, 4:00 pm. A Reception will be held at Romig’s Tavern (18 Bennington Drive) immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials in Barry's name may be directed to St Jude's Children Hospital or National Parkinson Foundation Greater Rochester.
