Obituary of Ronald A. Knorr

Irondequoit-Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Ronald is predeceased by his parents, Bertrum and Mildred Knorr; sister, Beatrice (Tom) Hendrick; brother, Alvin (Trudy) Knorr; sister, Barbara Knorr; brother-in-law, Bill Kelly; brother-in-law Joseph Ruthinowski. He is survived by his loving wife of 50+ years Joanne Kelly Knorr; sons, Kevin Knorr and Timothy (Claudia) Knorr; sister-in-laws, Susan Kelly Ruthinowski; brother-in-law, Timothy Kelly; sister-in-laws, Karen Kelly Mary R. Kelly along with many nieces, nephews, cousins,  dear friends and especially the beloved Mad Dogs.

 

Ronald attended St Michael Elementary School and graduated in the Pioneer Class of Cardinal Mooney High School. Ron served four years in the United States Navy and worked for 31 years at Eastman Kodak. Ron was a creative and dedicated Cub Master for pack 151 and a supportive parent for Boy Scout Troop 127. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and following the Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. Ron cherished family vacations especially the trip to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.

                    

His family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2025, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00am at the funeral home for his funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations could be made in Ron's name to Lollpop Farm or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
