Paul Hand posted a condolence

I am Bruce's sister Marion's son Paul Hand. My memories of Uncle Bruce from the 60's and 70's were that he was the funny, cool guy in his family of siblings. Which was hard to accomplish since they were all pretty cool (Uncle Tom, Uncle Bill, Aunt Vi, etc.). I admired his suave personality, and like I said he was COOL and FUNNY. He spent time in the Virgin Islands before living in Rochester. He was always very kind and soft spoken. I miss Uncle Bruce.

I’m his niece Val. I don’t remember being with him, but we enjoyed talking on the phone. He liked hearing about the West, where I now live. He was always curious of things that interested me. I always enjoyed hearing about his wonderful family. He will truly be missed by all he touched

Dear Dorothy and Family,
It was such a pleasure to know Bruce! We could always count on him to be on the sidelines or in the bleachers at the girls' softball games - coaching or cheering. He was easy to talk to and had much wisdom to share.
We are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sue and Paul Bottazzo

In my high school years, I had only been over to the house a handful of times when hanging out with Jen, but Mr. Rouse had an immediate impression of being a kind and warm soul, always greeting with a smile. My sincere condolences to the Rouse family. It is truly hard to lose someone that can never be replaced.
