Obituary of Eugene J. Burgess

Irondequoit- Monday, June 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Eugene is predeceased by his wife Ellen; daughter, Diane Everdyke. He is survived by his sons, Doug (Mary) Burgess, Dana (Dennis) Burgess; grandchildren, David (Desi) Burgess, Amy (Justin) Russell, Derrick Burgess and Lindsey Everdyke; great-grandchildren Emily, Luke, Chloe and Bennett along with many cousins and dear friends.

Eugene was an honorary member of the Sea Breeze Vol Fire Dept.

His family will receive friends Friday, June 27, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his funeral service will be held Saturday, June 28, 10:00 am. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gene can be made to the Sea Breeze Vol Fire Dept. 4657 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622.
