Obituary of Gary R. Broxholm

  Gary R. Broxholm passed away on August 14, 2025. He was born on January 6, 1961. When he was younger, he enjoyed sailing and playing the guitar, banjo, and piano. He also loved to draw many of the superheroes from his vast collection of comic books.  

  In his later years, one of his favorite pastimes was to sit on his front porch and hand out treats to every dog that walked by. It wasn’t long before every dog in the neighborhood made sure to walk by Gary’s house. His own dog, Jax, was his constant companion.

Because of his easy going nature, he made friends wherever he happened to be.  He is survived by his brother Scott Gibala-Broxholm, sister-in-law Janice Gibala-Broxholm, nephew and nieces, Brent and Tori Broxholm, and Tess Gibala-Broxholm, cousin Linda Overmyer, devoted friends, Corinne and Marie, and best buddies, Franklin, Otis, and Pete.  

 Gar-Bear is at peace at last.
