Obituary of Olga Strilec

(Rochester) Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the age of 98.  Pre-deceased by her husband John; nephew Steve Karol and cousins Frank and George Wardynski. Olga is survived by her daughters, Barbara and Patti. Survived by Steve’s family; wife Tina, their children Marla and Jason Karol. Cousins; Carol and Eddie Yurkstas, their son Scott (wife Caryn); Frank’s wife Carol Ann Wardynski and her daughters; Diane (her daughters Michalla and Brielle) and Sharon Wardynski. Goddaughter; Sue Moran.

Olga belonged and was very devoted to St.Josaphat’s Church all of her life. For 40 years, she was a volunteer, making the pierogi for the Churches annual festival. She took great pride in that and enjoyed the fellowship that it brought. She went out of her way throughout her life to help people, even ones that were strangers. She will be very much missed.

    Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
