I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Darryal’s passing. I’m proud to call him friend . He is truly one of the best men I’ve ever met. We had a ball hanging out back in the day hanging out and working out at Jennings Karate. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Rest in power big D!

My family and I are so saddened to hear of the passing of Darryal. He had been a close friend to me and my family for over 35 years. We were employed by the same chemical corporation and worked together in the maintenance department, Darryal was just not a pipe fitter but also a millwright and boiler operator, The company lost a gifted mechanic when he retired, Darryal was always included in my families celebrations and outings, We always considered Darryal as family, After I retired we kept in. Contact until I moved to Florida, only seen him when I came back to New York. We will miss you Darryal and hopefully we will meet again.

I worked with Darryal for over 20 years at Olin/Arch/Lonza as both a chemical operator and later in Maintenance as an instrument tech. Darryal always had a smile to share. He was quick witted and very intelligent. We shared a compassion for reading and good music, often discussing them when working on a project. We used to run into each other grocery shopping but I had not seen him in a while and am shocked to hear of his passing. Gone too soon. Rest in peace Mr. Jones.

I was crushed to hear of my good friend and co-worker passing. He and I worked in plant maintenance for over 30 years. Darryl was always quick with a joke but then could be serious when you needed to talk. I hadn't seen Darryl in many years after I retired and moved South. I'll miss him very much. Till we meet again my friend. Steve Cuthbert

Condolences to Darryal’s family. I knew him in the late 70s early 80s and have countless fond memories of our time back then. He had an infectious laugh and awesome personality. A good man! Rest in peace!
