Obituary of Clara Iven

Clara Cantella Iven

October 17th 1927 - September 24th 2025

Clara was born in Rochester, New York to Samuel and Mamie (Barone) Cantella.

She worked at Kodak Eastman as a secretary. She was an avid bowler, Macy's shopaholic, amazing cook and baker of beloved cookies. Clara married Michael S. Iven in 1974 and remained lovingly married to each other until his passing in 2001. When marrying Michael, she gained his 5 children as her own. After leaving NY, they lived in Saint Cloud Minnesota and then retired to Lake Worth, Florida.

She is survived by bonus children Kathleen Iven Lundeen, Linda (Jorge) Valdes, Michael F (Pamela) Iven, Mark (Valerie) Iven and Amy (William) Wilson, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and great niece and caretaker Amber Siena, also nephew, Richard Siena. Clara surrounded herself with a large group of extended family and friends. She was loved and cherished by everyone that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Samuel (Rita) Cantella, Josephine (Michael) Siena and Ruth Cantella, niece Joyce (Siena) Phillips, great nephew Eric Siena and dear friend Ann Griffo.

Calling hours for Clara will be held from 12 - 2 PM on Thursday, October 16th, at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home with a service immediately following at 2 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
