Jim and I both worked at Paychex and later Maximus. Truly a wonderful human being. Always spoke of his girls beaming with pride. Such a supportive friend, I will miss you dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

What a tragic loss of an awesome guy. Remembered every story I ever told him, talked about his family so fondly, and always had a new music venue or restaurant to recommend to me and my significant other. Catching up with him during his haircuts was truly a delight. I'll think of him now everytime I think of jello shots.

There are no words to express how deeply saddened I am and how sorry I am for Carrie, Emma and Megan. Jim was the first person I met when I joined Paychex over 20 years ago and we became instant friends. I have never met someone who so prominently displayed his love and pride for his family. He beamed when he spoke of them. Thought and prayers to "his girls" and everyone feeling this loss.

I knew him as far back as Brookview and first grade. I hadn't seen Jim in a long time, but ran into him in at a restaurant about five years ago. He spotted me and came right over to say hello. We played at each other's houses over 50 years ago ! May you rest in peace Jim.

My heart goes out to Jim's family. He surely loved all 3 of his girls. I was fortunate to cross paths with Jim twice in life. First at Fay's and later at Relph Benefits.
Truly a man with a passion for life and will be missed by many.
My prayers to everyone he touched.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Carrie, Emma & Megan and Nancy, Gary & the Line Family. I am so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I will fondly remember Jim & all the years I cut his hair. We had so many laughs & great conversations. I remember when he met Carrie & he told me “I think she’s the one” And clearly she was. May God give you all strength & peace and God rest his soul.

My sincerest condolences to Carrie and the girls. I will never forget that Jim placed a poinsettia outside my apartment door when I returned from Florida after my failed marriage. It meant the world to me. But that was typical Jim!! Always caring for anyone that was hurting. He will be missed by many people that helped cheered up in his lifetime. Rest in peace my sweet friend.

This is heartbreaking for everyone- especially Carrie, Emma and Megan. I had the pleasure of teaching these beautiful girls and got to know the entire family. I often ran into Jim at ZBTB shows. I am so sad for this loss- I hope your memories will ease your pain and you carry on his traditions and love for your family and community. This will keep Jim alive. Sending love and hugs. I want to share some pictures of my buddy Jim, all of which show his kindness, special warmth and love for life. He had a gentle humor, and I always loved his smile that could just make you feel good no matter how badly your day would be going. We worked together at Relph/Alera as the newest members of the CARE team and we watched out for each other as we learned the ropes. His clients adored him and so did we.
He was very generous sharing his time and skills to help anyone in need. We shared a love of jello shots and beer, animals and music, Ted Lasso and making people laugh. Oh, and Ridge Donuts. We kept in touch because once you meet the man and experience his affable charm, you can't give him up. My heart goes out to his girls, all three of them, who he held so very precious in his life. He was such a good human, and I'll miss him enormously.
Buddy, the folks in the next realm will enjoy your spirit as much as we did here. You take care and we'll meet up again someday.

Jim, we met at Paychex but went to the same gym too. Then we both had a love for local music and would always run in to each other at events. You will be missed!
