It was truly a blessing working with Matthew. He taught me so much about understanding and connecting with those who are nonverbal — how to listen beyond words and recognize the little signs that speak volumes. What I’ll miss most about him is his gentle spirit and the way he’d hold your hand so tightly, as if to say, “I trust you.” Moments like that stay with you forever.

Q: What will you miss most about Matthew? A: What is will miss the most about matthew is his smile,laugh and him enjoying taking naps while he is suppose to be doing his chores with assists from staff. Love you Matt!

I always loved seeing Matt. He had a great taste in music and books. I will miss that handsome man with a head full of beautiful hair. Many hugs from me to all of the staff and especially mom.
