Found these in my photos .
Dell at Eastman Kodak in his signature hat messing around in the middle of the day. Was definitely a joy to be around while breaking up the day.
Rest in peace my friend.
May the lord grant you internal peace. You deserve it.

I am Carol Wood Reeners, Amy Wood & Howard’s granddaughter. I used to see Del & his cousins there when we visited my grandma. I remember him fondly from the 60’s & 70’s. I’m sorry for your loss.

My Dad Tony was a good friend of Del. They worked together at Kodak at various times. I remember Del at our house having something eat (mandatory at our house) and of course a beer or a glass or two of wine. Now they are together again. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

To my buddy Del,
We first met in 1968 swinging hammers at Kodak, and from day one, I knew you were a one-of-a-kind character. You had that rare mix of grit, charm, and mischief that made every job—and every breakfast—a little more entertaining.
I’m grateful we got to share one last breakfast just two days before you decided to clock out early and let the Lord take over your schedule. I’m sure Joanne had a fresh cup of coffee waiting for you on the other side.
I’ll miss our breakfast antics, your off-the-wall stories, and the way you could turn a simple meal into a comedy show. You weren’t just a friend you were family. And like any good sitcom, I’m holding out for the reunion episode.
Love you, man.
Definitely going to miss you.

Just some fond, fun memories of my dad with my mom and also his lovely partner, Jean Lombard. She brought many years of laughter and love into his life after my mom passed.

Q: What was one of the qualities of Delbert that you loved most?
A: Del and I worked together at Wegmans. He was one of the nicest and most caring person l had the pleasure to work with. Over the years he met my husband and a great friendship grew. We did have a lot of laughs at Wegmans, but the most funniest was the day after my husband, who worked at Genesee Brewery, gave Del a few new beers to sample. One a blonde ale and one a red ale. While working in the deli, with a full customer counter, Del tells me he took the blonde l gave him into the shower, and it was the best blonde he ever had!!! When we turned around the looks on our customers faces was one of total shock. We both cracked up and explained. I will never forget that day .Every time we got together years later, that story always was repeated. He was truly one in a million..
