Faith of our Fathers, Tony and the TLM
dd
Always remember Tony, the old guard.
For his friends, his loss, hits each of us hard.
With his old school upbringing, he could see
Magisterial love for you and me.
When I first met him, Tony was retired.
His gentle good nature was much admired.
He defended the TLM with love
His many insights shed light from above.
He seemed to understand, a grandfather’s touch?
Speaking with Tony, this Mass meant so much.
That next day, he was flying to Tampa.
His enthusiasm- right, real grandpa.
Tony never made that expected flight.
We’re left in prayer, now. Hope gave him sight.
